Man of Steel

There are many superheroes who I can talk about, but Superman is one of the most widely known. From his comic books, cartoons, and his movies, there are not many people who don't know who he "is". He saves people from harm and never asks any questions or for anything. But who is superman? He goes by three main names: Superman, Clark Kent, and Kal El. Which is the real person? Kal El was given to him by his birth father but ever since he landed on earth he goes by Clark Kent. Clark Kent is a nerdy reporter who works for The Daily Planet. He comes off as weak and clumsy, but in the entire time Superman, the man under the suit, is doing all of this. Now for Superman. He seems to be the perfect being, never has any problems, and he always does the right thing. He adheres to a strict moral code and will never kill someone, but how can we know this?

Superman is one of the most powerful superheroes on planet earth. If he chose to, he could destroy everyone and everything in his path. But he doesn't, instead he devotes his time and effort to protect people he doesn't know. I think his adopted parents have a lot to do with this. They taught him all about hard work, accomplishing your goals, to protect, and most of all his family. If it was not for them we could have been seeing a whole different Superman.

Clark Kent is very different from Superman in so many ways. Clark Kent is one of the most weakest, irresponsible, and weirdest persons, at least that's what he wants us to believe. He has to make him self as different as he can because he cannot let anyone know his "secret" identity. If people found out Superman's other personality, they would all be asking for autographs, pictures and just plain old help. Even though he is one very powerful being, he cannot stop every crime from being committed. No one is perfect.

Superheroes come in different sizes and they are all different. Some have their fates set and some make their own future. There is not question that there are people on this planet who are good and will do anything to protect the innocent.

Very interesting look at our friend, Superman. I hope you'll delve more into a lot more heroes! I think one of the best Superman comics was Peace on Earth, because he really learns that he can't help everyone, and that if he doesn't teach humanity to help itself, they will become dependent upon him. Nice post!
